The Hindu festival of Sharad Navratri is now being celebrated through October 26th. At this time, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are honored. Each region in India celebrates this festival in their own manner, but in some traditions, three days each are dedicated to Durga, Lakshmi and Sarasvati. On the tenth day, Vijayadashami is observed.
